These reels are great for stripers (rockfish to our mid-Atlantic fans), blues and all inshore game fish. They are available in standard front drag and live bait "Hit & Run" models. Each reel comes with a reel bag, an engraved collectors knife, and a spare aluminum spool.
I have confidence in this reel matched up with a UEHA rod med to heavy fast action rod. Great for jigging fluke and bottom fishing, good sensitivity, feel them biting. It is a good set up for Blues and stripers, however bass in the high 30s and over fighting a strong current, maybe better with a bigger reel. Casts and retrieves as some more expensive reels. It is one of my go to surf and boat set ups.
